E. Shaver, Bookseller

This bookstore is the brainchild of Esther and Edwin Shaver. They visited here in 1975 and fell in love with Savannah. They purchased the historic 1842 Eliza Ann Jewett Townhouse and converted the lower floor into the bookstore. The bookstore features 12 rooms filled with 17th and 18th century maps, local books, children`s books and much, much more! In Historic Savannah the go-to for local treasures is Shavers Book Store. While it is fun to troll the shelves it is equally fun to ask for their recommendations, and Shavers is the source on tons of local information, written or oral, historical or contemporary, serious or playful.

The Paris Market

The Paris Market and Brocante, 36 West Broughton Street, is located in the heart of historic Savannah. This irresistible invitation to shop the worldís most exotic and exclusive markets is the brainchild of owner Paula Danyluk. A love of world travel combined with a quirky design style quickly led Paula and her husband, Taras, across the globe. Their initial timid forays into the Parisian ĎMarche aux Pucesí ignited a passion that soon led to the chaotic, intoxicating bazaars of Cairo (Khan el-Khalili), Alexandria (El Attarine), and India (fabled Rajasthan).
